Janki Kapadia, DO, FAAP, IBCLC
Pediatrics
Janki Kapadia, DO—affectionately known to her patients as "Dr. K"—is the owner and lead physician at Advocare Quakerbridge Pediatrics. She proudly followed in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Milan Kapadia, taking the helm of the practice he founded nearly 30 years ago following his retirement.
Dr. K views pediatric medicine as a collaborative partnership, focusing heavily on parent and patient education to ensure families feel empowered and heard. Recognizing the complex needs of growing children, she also places a special emphasis on pediatric mental healthcare, providing comprehensive, whole-child support for patients navigating ADHD, anxiety, and other behavioral health challenges.
A New Jersey native from West Windsor, Dr. K earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University before pursuing her medical education at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she helped establish a student-run clinic. She completed her pediatric residency at Rutgers University in Newark, where she advocated for children’s health and well-being as an American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) liaison.
As a mother herself, Dr. K understands the day-to-day realities of parenting firsthand. Outside the office, she stays wonderfully busy with her husband, Mihir, their children, Ari and Laila, and their dog, Riley. A true creative at heart, she enjoys DIY woodworking projects, crocheting, and watercolor painting. She is also an avid reader of cozy fiction and sci-fi, loves catching outdoor live music, and unwinds by baking or relaxing with her favorite podcasts and reruns of The Office and Survivor.
